December 1, 2025: Lumina Pharmaceuticals, a clinical stage company developing radiopharmaceuticals, announced today that industry expert Eric S. Hoffman, Ph.D., will join the company as Chief Business Officer. In this role, Dr. Hoffman will be responsible for leading business development, strategic partnerships, and corporate strategy initiatives to advance the company’s pipeline and commercial objectives. Hoffman has more than 20 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, most recently as Senior Vice President of business development for Fusion Pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Hoffman brings decades of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Most recently, he served as senior vice president for Fusion Pharmaceuticals, which was acquired by AstraZeneca in 2024. Prior to that, his roles included Chief Business Officer at Vicarius Pharma and Genocea Biosciences, where he led successful business development efforts for oncology and other therapeutic products. He previously led business development at Idenix Pharmaceuticals through the 2014 acquisition by Merck & Co., worked in business development and investor relations at Biogen, and was a biotech equity analyst at JPMorgan and Bear Stearns.
Dr. Hoffman holds a Ph.D. in molecular, cellular and developmental biology with a focus on cell cycle control of T cell development from Yale University, and a B.S. in biology from Trinity University.
